Testing Suite

With Sergey Kozlovich and Alexander Belov, my ACM teammates, we built a system for running programming olympiads. Sergey wrote the testing kernel: a queue of submissions, participants’ programs run under a separate user in a chroot with limits on time, memory and child processes, C++ and Free Pascal compilers. Alexander wrote the checker plugins. I built the web part in PHP and MySQL: logins, submissions, results, questions to the jury, and per-olympiad settings such as when participants and guests may see the standings.
